2005-2006 Excell grants funded

• Interactive study of Mars through the Jason Project for the 5th grade

• EHS coach Conrad Bekkum was granted funds to be used for a curriculum called ‘Mental training:Changing lives curriculum’

• The Ellsworth Band department brought in a composer who wrote a piece just for Ellsworth “Heart of a Hero” Then students studied the composition at sa seminar with the composer Daniel Mitchell to better understand the creative process

• Sunnyside Elementary brought in “Word Man” Jack Kreitzer to make an impression on young writers and staff
